How do we get there? The house is about 1 mile away from Blair Atholl. There is a train station in Blair Atholl. The walk to the house from the station is quite steep up the mountain road, and so a car/some form of transport is recommended. We will send you detailed directions prior to the commencement of the rental.

How can we pay?  By on-line bank transfer, PayPal, cash/cheque.

Can we bring pets? We accept well behaved pets - there are a few house rules to observe, and we provide those when you book. It is important to us that the garden is kept fresh and safe for all visitors, but especially for children. There are plenty of great spaces around Tulach for walking dogs.

Can we smoke in the house? There is plenty of open space outside the house to smoke, but we ask that you do not smoke inside.

Is there a telephone in the house? There is a landline that we can make available to you by prior arrangement.

Is the house suitable for children? Children are very welcome (we are parents too!) and will love the garden. We can make a cot and highchair available upon request.

Is there disabled access? No, and there is a fairly steep grass approach to the house from the road, so for anyone unsteady on their feet, Tulach may be difficult to access.

Are there shops nearby? There are a couple of small groceries store in Blair Atholl, about 1 mile away, down the hill. There are many shops in Pitlochry, which is about 7 miles away, including a supermarket (the Co-op).

Is public transport close by? There are buses that head into Bruar, Pitlochry and Perth from Blair Atholl, and of course the mainline station has local train services.

Where is the Tourist Information Office? The closest one is in Blair Atholl, near the gates to Blair Castle. The official tourist information website is: www.blairatholl.org.uk.

Is there any parking nearby? The house has off-street parking for two cars.

What about internet access? The house has wireless internet access, which is included in the price. Download limits apply.
